Fittocks Born, Raised and Consigned Arizona Blaze at the Breeders’ Cup

ARIZONA BLAZE has been a great two-year-old to follow this year. The colt out of LIBERISQUE by SERGEI PROKOFIEV won the first two-year-old race of the year in Ireland and since then has won the GR.3 Marble Hill St. as well as being placed in the GR.1 Pheonix St. He has proven to be a tough and consistent sort and his run in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint just cemented that. He ran a very brave race to finish second. We are very proud of this Fittocks born, raised and consigned horse.

He has given his half-brother by BLACKBEARD a lovely update ahead of the Tattersalls December Foal Sale. The colt foal is lot 784 and you can find out more about his pedigree here.

2024 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, Book 1

The October Yearling Sale at Tattersalls is always an exciting and nerve-wrecking time for us. Our team spend a lot of time preparing the yearlings for the sale and it’s always nice when we get rewarded in the ring. Since our first yearling consignment in 2019 we have enjoyed great results but this year we managed another milestone of selling our highest-priced yearling to-date. We took 10 yearlings to Book 1 and each of them found a new home including LADY BOWTHORPE’S first foal by DUBAWI who made 2,000,000gns, selling to Godolphin. To watch some highlights of our sale go to our Instagram page fittocksstud.

Round up of 2022

We have had a wonderful 2022, foaling 39 mares with some lovely foals, now yearlings on the ground.

Drought at Fittocks Stud 2022

It was a memorable year from the drought in the summer to selling our largest draft of yearlings so far at Tattersalls October book 1 and book 2 yearling sales.  We sold a bay colt by Dubawi out of Willow View for 1,600,000 GNS and a bay colt by Frankel out of Blue Waltz for 1,900,000GNS!

B.C FRANKEL out of BLUE WALTZ

In addition to the yearling sales we enjoyed a successful Mare sales selling two mares in the new Tattersalls Sceptre sale for a total of 1,000,000 GNS.  We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy into Innevera, who we sold on behalf of Haras Du Lieu Marmion.

INNEVERA

We are very much looking forward to 2023, with another 39 mares to foal and some very exciting mating plans!
